Deborah Carter

Owner/Hairstylist/Advice Guru

  • Hometown:
  • Hollywood, California (honest!)
  • Fav Tool:
  • My stupidly expensive Hikari magic steel shears
  • Fav Ice Cream:
  • Seasonal Bluebell Homemade Vanilla and Peaches
  • Theme Song:
  • "Let it Go" from Disney's 'Frozen'. I have a 4 year old granddaughter so it's stuck in my head, but surprisingly appropriate at times.
  • Dream Pet:
  • A silent, non-annoying, non-intrusive non-destructive white peacock.
  • Last thing I made:
  • A Giclee print of my race horse painting "Santa Anita"
  • Deborah Carter Mastelotto is a pathological entrepreneur, an obsessive remodeler, a minor student of quantum physics, an unapologetic observer of human nature and an indefatigable advice-giver. And she has a lovely little salon called Pink West in a hundred-year-old farm house in Dripping Springs, Texas.

  • I joined Pink West in 2011 as the all-purpose Salon Manager and have never looked back. Since then I have earned my cosmetology degree and now specialize in styling for bridal parties and events. My goal each and every day is to make you feel like a welcome member of our family. From a simple blowout to a complete color transformation, I hope I can help you become the best version of yourself, on your most special days and every day.

Noelle Mastelotto

Hairstylist

  • Home town:
  • Los Angeles California
  • Fave tool:
  • Curling iron
  • Fave ice cream:
  • Pistachio
  • Dream pet:
  • Monkey
  • I fell in love with hair and fashion at a young age.
  • My parents divorced when I was 14, so of course I frequently and radically changed my hair, and therefore spent a lot of time at my dads favorite hair salon Pink on South Congress. He began dating Deborah, one of the owners, slowly but surely and I became totally immersed in the salon life from then on out, and I've never left.
  • My style and esthetic can best be described in 3 words: Colorful, bright, but minimalistic.
  • I believe in finding what works for the client. I don't believe in hairstyles that are so far fetched the health and integrity of the hair are compromised.
  • Hair is freedom, an easy way to express yourself and be unique.
  • Hairdressing, like life, is an awesome roller coaster ride where you get to give love, and receive love, and build incredible relationships.

Ramie Pettigrew

Hairstylist

  • Hometown:
  • Pomona, California
  • Fav Tool:
  • Mint-green blow dryer
  • Fav Ice Cream:
  • Chocolate Raspberry Truffle
  • Theme Song:
  • "You Don't Own Me" by DustySpringfield
  • Dream Pet:
  • Cat-sized Dragon
  • From androgyny & grunge to big hair & glam rock, I love it all! I always keep the integrity and shine if your hair in mind but I'm always ready to introduce you to a new way of seeing your most beautiful you. I may be the most recent Senior addition to the Pink West team but I'm no stranger to the family--I started my career apprenticing under Deborah Carter over 30 years ago!

Kara Reeder

Hairstylist/Airbrush Makeup Artist

  • Hometown:
  • Dripping Springs, Texas
  • Fave tool:
  • Round Brush
  • Fave Ice Cream:
  • Blue Bell Banana Split
  • Theme Song:
  • "Wild One" by Faith Hill
  • Dream Pet:
  • Micro-pig
  • I may be the baby of Pink West, but trust me when I say, once I complete my apprenticeship I plan to hit the floor with a Big Bang. I am no minimalist. There's no such thing as hair too big, eyeshadow too smoky, or lashes too long. I promise, you won't leave my chair without feeling like a movie star.
  • I was born in Austin, Texas, raised in the Hill Country and I am every inch a hometown girl. I found my love for hair and makeup in high school as a member of the Dripping Springs Hi-Steppers. When I'm not at the salon, I'm either adjusting my 2 year olds pigtails, or explaining to my 4 year old why it's rude to point.

Carrie Napiorkowski

Aesthetician

  • Hometown:
  • St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada (I'm a dual citizen)
  • Favorite Tool:
  • #10 McKesson Scalpel for dermaplaning
  • Theme Song:
  • Tie between "We are the Champions" by Queen or "You Make me Feel Like A Natural Woman" by Carole King... depends on my mood
  • Dream Pet:
  • Pugs... I absolutely love Pugs.
  • First Thing I Remember Making:
  • I once sewed an apron. It was a disaster. I was, and am, much better at baking cookies.
  • If I had a life quote, it would be "Beauty is as Beauty does." I believe beauty radiates from the inside...and I believe my job as an aesthetician is to make my client's inner light shine a little brighter on the outside. Knowledge is as essential as self love, and that's why I try to educate each of my cleint's about their skin and how to take care of it.
